April, 2008. A former member and president of the St. Lucia Writers's Forum. This group meets every Tuesday evening and is made up of mostly poets who are willing to share and accept constructive criticism in the efforts of developing the skills of writers. My time with the group was a short one but I am grateful for the opportunities and especially the different writers that I came to know. I would like to thank the man at the mic in this image, Stan Bishop, another influential poet. He introduced me to the group. I am dressed in white, with some of the other members about to deliver my first performance of my poem "To Be".
